Presenters needed for JROTC Leadership Medals

Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC):

The Chapter actively supports the JROTC programs at 100 high schools in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Each year, the top students from the JROTC at each school are honored with MOAA Leadership Awards and many are presented by Chapter members. Pictures of award presentations can be found in our Photos gallery.

We encourage cadets to apply for scholarships awarded annually by the Chapter.

Our goal is for every school to have coordinator. Here's what an AMOAA JROTC Support Coordinator is responsible for:

• Establish and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the JROTC instructors within your support area.
• Identify and coordinate your JROTC unit(s) needs with AMOAA.
• Annually, provide the MOAA JROTC award sets to the JROTC units within your area. (MOAA JROTC award sets will be provided to you.)
• Annually, attend or arrange for other AMOAA members to attend the annual JROTC unit awards ceremonies and present the MOAA JROTC awards. Provide photo(s) of the awards presentation(s) to AMOAA.
